She has served as a member of Australia’s National Health and Medical Research Council’s Panels on Centres of Research Excellence in Population Health and in Service Delivery. Maarten Leyts is the founder of Trendwolves; a European trend, future, and marketing agency with its focus on youth culture. He developed large networks for and by young people around doing, making and creativity and developed, among others, the successful ‘phygital’ go-to-market youth strategy for Hellobank! and the youth marketing approach for Deutsche Telecom Europe. Driven by trend and youth research, he launched the postgraduate course Trendwatching and Future Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Gent. Based on his passion for future research, he also supported La Futura, a network of trend and future agencies and was its President between 2015 and 2017. Maarten is finishing a book on the generation kids born after 2010.
